taking on hate

If someone tells you that you won't go anywhere, don't even take their words with a grain of salt. If you have to respond, simply tell them to keep on watching.   Over the last year of producing under CRVE U, I've been given both positive and negative feedback. Kids at my school told me I was going nowhere and mocked my music. Other musicians gave lackluster feedback and generic comments. That said, I didn't let the hate bog me down, instead, I channeled the love I received from the people I cared about: my family, friends, and peers. Now, as 2018 starts, all of the boys in the dorm bounce to my music. Other artists give me astounding feedback and praise me for the work I'm putting into improving my craft. Through all of the bullshit, I simply thought about how those who were hating were also watching, and I just let them see me grow.   To anyone out there who's working towards your goals, just breeze by the haters and think positive thoughts. The harder you work to accomplish your goals, the more you'll prove to those who hate that they aren't' affecting your journey, and they'll eventually turn around. My freshman year, I was hated by everybody at school for promoting my terrible music. Nowadays, underclassmen look up to me and my upperclassmen peers see the tunnel vision I have, and respect it.   To conclude, DO NOT GIVE UP. As Big Sean says, Don’t owe nobody, owe nobody Always on the fuckin' job, I got no hobbies... If you fuck with my glory I'mma drop the L and get gory I done did everything expect worry Karma come around I'll wish 'em well Livin' like I’m on a limitless pill I kill the scene like I’m Denzel" - CRVE U
